I thought the RETE tree should be no problem, as its just some in memory structure. I was thinking the right hand side of the rules would be the issue as java classes are generated for those. My thoughts were the generated java bytecode would not be compatible with Android.<br>

When I think about this in the past I was thinking about an interpreted version of the RETE algorithm and not a compiled one.<br>That's my two cents, I think that the most important thing here is to maintain the concepts and to be able to share the execution.<br>

<div bgcolor="#FFFFFF"><div>A year ago I though to write a simple port, exposing the same APIs as drools for android and iPhone. I think it might work, if we create an integration layer that let us do simple inferences on the phone and communicate with a drools service for more advanced stuff. <br>
