Ah sorry ... I'm already achieving that on 5.3.1.Final as a workaround.

I was just curious whether the cleaner 1-line style was working in the current supported JBoss BRMS (5.2?).

However ... I saw the bug again in 5.4, so I have been fiddling around for a little while and established how to reproduce it. It's a bit contrived, so I'll update Jira with details.

For now I have gone with the following more verbose style, which does the job, but at least I can switch to the simpler form soon.

It seems that Guvnor bug 1507 was resolved as not reproducible. I came across it this morning and have attached a repo extract that demonstrates it.

However, I'm not able to re-open it.

Is someone else able to re-open it? Or would you prefer it if I were to do raise a new bug?
