Could you please give me an example of the ranges?

I tried the following based on a couple google searches, but they result in
NullPointerExceptions.

                releaseId = kieServices.newReleaseId("com.xyz.policy",
"cep", 
                                "[1.0,"); 
                releaseId = kieServices.newReleaseId("com.xyz.policy",
"cep", 
                                "[1.0-10.0");
