I notice the Rule Agent class uses a java timer for polling a directory or a
URL. <o:p></o:p></p>
<p class=MsoNormal>Is this appropriate to use in a Managed Environment like an
Application Server? <o:p></o:p></p>

<p class=MsoNormal>I only have theoretical knowledge of timers, but is it not
recommended to use Timer EJB’s rather than Timer Tasks in a Managed
environment so that the container can manage the timers ?<o:p></o:p></p>
