As far as using globals on the LHS, in the Drools Expert User Guide, section 2.5.4.5, it mentioned the following "</font><a id="d0e812"> If you use a
global on the LHS of a rule, make sure it is immutable.<font face="Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif">". So, I though I could use globals on the LHS.</font></a><br>
