Do I need to persist the solution of the first planning?<br>
Is there any example amongst the list of available examples
which can give me a head-start on this?<br>

This is called "continous planning" and it's documented in the
manual.<br>
Also, the nurse rostering examples demo's this concept:<br>
- load a dataset<br>
- solve it (and terminate it after 20 secs or so)<br>
- hit the button "advance into the future" a few times<br>
- solve it again... voila you got continous planning :)<br>
