So... now that you have rejected   JBSEAM-3281(note that I do not agree with its rejection, please see my comments there I guess this one should get "automatically" unrejected ;-). Of course, this kind of conversion should throw and exception if one tries to use int on Seam.Remoting.Map that uses something different from "strings" in the key.
