I'm not sure I understand, the seam distributions were compiled using JDK 1.5.

This is in the the manifest from the jboss-seam-pdf.jar file.  Created-By: 1.5.0_14-b03 (Sun Microsystems Inc.)

Are you talking about changes to the "javax.faces.component.UIForm" class?
