I have the same problem, but for now you can use the following workaround:

1. Create new ear project using seam-gen 
2. gf-prepare
3. Do the changes described in glassfish-readme.txt
4. gf-explode --> Project works in GlassFish
5. Undeploy through GlassFish admin console
6. gf-archive
7. Login to Glassfish Admin console and attempt to deploy ear from dist folder. 

Now it works:-)
