CDI 2.0 is knocking on the door. Beta1 was released and Final version will come up in following weeks. 
New beans_2_0.xsd (https://github.com/cdi-spec/cdi/blob/master/api/src/main/resources/beans_2_0.xsd) has been introduced.
I think it would be helpful if the new ShrinkWrap BeanDescriptor 2.0 will be created.
