Directing the browser to
http://localhost:18001/OrderService by mistake (!) instead of <http://localhost:8080> causes NullPointer exceptions in the log. The error message that is then returned ("A Fault occurred while processing") is not particularly helpful; could we change it to something more indicative of the cause.
