The only implementation of VersionFactory is ManifestVersionFactory, and there are no plans to create any others.  Thus, the ServiceLoader lookup is not necessary in the base class, as we can just (under-the-hood) hardcode the implementation for the foreseeable future.  Changing this will the positive side-effect of cleaner JBoss AS7 module.xml files, as we no longer will have to add services="export" to all occurrences of the org.switchyard.common module.
