<p>The Teiid JDBC API supports three types of transactions from a client perspective – global, local, and request level. All are implemented by the Teiid Server as XA transactions. See the <a href="http://java.sun.com/javaee/technologies/jta/index.jsp" class="external-link" rel="nofollow">JTA specification</a> for more on XA Transactions.</p>
