<p>Ok.. then back to my original question</p>
<p>Source Metadata can have a "native query" property set so is it possible to create a source table with a native query specified and do so via DDL?</p>

<p>Teiid DDL can be used to specify both source and virtual metadata. Source metadata will have the FOREIGN keyword.</p>
