<html><head><style type='text/css'>p { margin: 0; }</style></head><body><div style='font-family: Verdana; font-size: 12pt; color: #000000'>One thing I'd like to keep in the back of our minds... is the perception that dealing with a bunch of xxxxx.xml files is the "Norm" when it comes to JBoss Tools<br><br>AND.....<br><br>There has been lots of "bad" buzz around it. One of the knocks about JBDS/JBT is still the hand-editing of xml files... and managing xml files.<br><br>It's not like we're gonna build XML Text editors for Eclipse for Designer. We have the hooks to already Edit (via property panels), what amounts to "-ds.xml" files through the API.<br><br>Teiid Tooling is what we are. It's what we do. Teiid Designer needs to provide an attractive user experience.
