Good question.  It's been there for a while.  I don't recall explicitly putting it there but simply extracting the Teiid 6.0.0 zip doesn't put it there either.  Should I go ahead and delete this file?  Note that configuration.xml in the deploy directory suffers the same problem.  

Also, I went and edited both of these files to correct extension: -> extensionjar: and the related exception went away.
