Dan Florian commented on TEIID-1065:
------------------------------------

Seems like the "metadata defined on the managed property" needs to be fixed then. Not sure who is responsible for that. Can you help me there. And why isn't JON/JOPR using the metadata?

I like your idea of marking properties as being a Teiid property or not. Tools can then do what they want. For instance, Teiid Designer could mark the non-Teiid properties as expert and non-modifiable if they choose to not their users modify them.

> The display names of properties should be the same between JON and TEIID. For instance, the "jmx-invoker-name" property is displayed in JON as "Jmx Invoker Name" but in the PropertyDefinition the display name is "jmxInvokerName."
