When we discussed this request on IRC one of the reasons for not doing this now was that the Admin API is not stable.  Is there any ballpark release where we think it will be stable?  I agree that there isn't much value here until it is.  Minor changes could be worked around by versioning runtimes that are defined in Designer, but I don't think we want to play catchup until there is an expectaion of stability.
