Do you need the ability to override hasRole?  - 
No.  In fact, we probably won't use hasRole relying instead on our own Teiid functions and connection information.  I see the CommandContext is part of the API.  Unfortunately, I don't have source handy, is the Teiid JDBC connection available through that?
