JBoss AS also provides clustered JNDI services if needed, they can be read about here http://docs.jboss.org/jbossclustering/cluster_guide/5.1/html/clustering-jndi.html

However, use of remote data source in Teiid is not verified nor recommended path, because of the latency and lob handling issues involved. HA-JNDI may not be helpful in Teiid, if the data source they are pointing to is the same instance underneath. When data source is down, all access to it is down. If this ever becomes requirement, we will revisit this topic in another JIRA.
