This issue seems more like a setup/configuration issue related to the data source, and not an issue with Teiid.   The data source has the ability to return EDBCID in ASCII form, but for what ever reason, the user has been unable to get it configured correctly based on the DB2 documentation.  

Should this be closed and just un-assign it for now?
