So, there are two issues
* Convert time and date to timestamp to support them
* Convert all the timestamps to UTC 

So, I made the changes here https://github.com/teiid/teiid/commit/733b690f9a5139c6f8210954b7538c31d99365f9  

Any other suggestions?
