[~van.halbert] the above check is already there, I have given to the link to the upstream in the previous comment. [~jstastny] wants more to be done on top to figure out the errors. In connector layer, there is no access to CLI/Admin API. Unless there is some check I can do on the "cache" API above is not a viable option currently. I am inclined to change this is an enhancement rather than a bug.
