As a user it would be helpful to have a custom metadata repository maven archetype like we have for PreParser, UDF, Translator, and Connector.  See https://github.com/teiid/teiid-tools for reference.

I have created v1 of this artifact in PR https://github.com/teiid/teiid-tools/pull/29
