Teiid team proud to announce the availability of Teiid 8.0.alpha1
release. This is the first release that is based AS7 as host
environment.  Read about some current issues and how to get started at

Download take it for test drive and report any issues or start a
discussion at http://community.jboss.org/en/teiid?view=discussions

Based on the feedback and further work we expect to release few more
alpha/beta releases in regular intervals before the Teiid 8.0.Final.
