Hello all,

8.1 Alpha1 is now available [1].  Typically an earlier alpha can be a rough release.  However in this case most of the work that has been done is fixes. Anyone having issues with 8.0 should consider giving Alpha1 a look.  There is also a new VDB reuse feature that helps with maintaining common models across VDBs [2].
