[weld-dev] weld-parent compiler settings

Hi,

we'd like to change the default compiler settings in weld-parent.

Currently maven-compiler-plugin is configured as follows:

<configuration>
<source>1.5</source>
<target>1.5</target>
</configuration>

Since JDK5 completed its EOL and is no longer supported we'd like to change it to:

<configuration>
<source>1.6</source>
<target>1.6</target>
</configuration>

Note that the current code base cannot be even compiled with JDK5 (not JDK6 in JDK5 mode) due to some odd @Override annotation processing [1] and the fact, that some libraries are not JDK5 compatible anymore.

What's your opinion?
Is there anyone still running Weld on JRE 1.5?
