I have an app deployed as ROOT.war, which has an index.html file.
* https://github.com/alesj/simplechat

So I would expect app's index.html under "http://localhost:8080".

But I sometimes get WF's "welcome page".

This is my standalone xml config:
* https://github.com/capedwarf/capedwarf-jboss-as/blob/master/build/src/main/resources/standalone/configuration/standalone-capedwarf.xml

Race condition on which UnderTow' handler gets registered under "/" ?

Hmmm, it could be darn browser caching that tricked me.
As I only now learned that I need to also hold Shift as well, to get proper refresh.
I'll re-post if it's still an issue, aka I can easily re-produce.

Extensions that observe using @WithAnnotations are not notified with
implementing classes for annotated interfaces.

Not sure if this is intended - the javadoc seems pretty clear on that the
following example should work.

@Path("/service")
public interface Service {
  @POST
  public void execute();
}

public ServiceEndpoint implements Service {
   public void execute() { ... }
}

public class JaxrsExtension implements Extension {

<X> void storeJaxrsResourceClasses(@Observes @WithAnnotations({Path.class,
Provider.class}) ProcessAnnotatedType<X> pat) {
    AnnotatedType<X> type = pat.getAnnotatedType();
    if (!type.getJavaClass().isInterface()) {

    }
  }
}

Hi Kristoffer,

the javadoc is wrong, CDI should follow JSL rules here - i.e. only if
@Inherited meta-annotation is present the annotation is inherited and
the type is observed. @Path has not @Inherited defined. Therefore only
resources with this annotation will be observed.
