No, in EE5 you used @PersistenceContext, which is nontypesafe and doesn't support stuff like alternatives. In EE6 you should use CDI to @Inject your EntityManager just like any other bean.<br></blockquote><div><br>Right, the point is we are going to hide @PersistenceContext one way or another (either w/ a producer field or just bypassing it with an extension). The point I believe Gavin is making is that the developer should only need to work with @Inject because of its obvious benefits.<br>
