Hi team,

here is an epic to support GCM3 for 1.2.0:

Especially the "topic messaging" sub-task is kick ass! This means we need to map our categories to GCM topics, and that allows us to ping all devices, with a single request, to GCM.

That is an extremely awesome boost! The epic contains a 35 min. video of the new GCM 3.0 changes. 

Very cool, it also takes about the iOS/GCM mapping (at least worth to explore / evaluate)
