I've tested enabling the developer user and ran into an issue [1]. I can enable the user and then log into the UPS admin console. But if I simply logout of the console where I enabled the users (I'm guessing this is the KC console) I'm not able to and there is no error. Not sure if this is supposed to work as the developer user probably does not have the rights to access that admin console but I wanted to bring it up just the same.

Ok I tested various flows with different roles + Quickstarts/HelloWorld (Cordova)
All good, except Quickstart JQM but that is unrelated to UPS release

Hi,

if you wonder what to test the UPS with, please use the helloword (1.0.x branch):

and/or the quickstarts (but here the master branch):

One thing i noticed starting to test the cordova quick start.  There is no link to the steps involved in creating a variant for Android/iOS

Can you file JIRA for that ?
yup and yup

Here it's also important to test with Cordova, since we do have a new version (1.0.2) out there:

Please also give the native apps a test-drive, even we had no new release on the Push SDKs for Android and iOS since our 1.0.0 release in August :-)

If you want to test the new role, you will find some details here:

Thanks!
Matthias

* UI fixes and improvements
* Polish UI to look nice(r) on mobile devices

You'll find details on all the JIRAs can be found here:

The staging repository is located here:

NOTE: Once this release has been approved the matching tag will be used to get the OpenShift online bits updated!

Let me know the results of your testing!
If I hear nothing bad by Tuesday evening, the release to maven central will happen on Wednesday morning;

Greetings,
Matthias
