@Apache we usually "just" follow the committers of a project, not more

I like the idea of retweets too.

Imo release announcements, or other bigger items should be from @AeroGears, but things like blogs, interesting conversations, etc... could be retweeted.

The account could also follow AG community members, so followers know who's working on the project and may want to follow them as well.

That sounds like a good idea as long as it does not make the channel too noisy

I am -1 for this. This would create a lot more maintenance for this account because as soon as our account follows someone it's like we're endorsing things they say which could end up really bad. Plus, as soon as you start following some people but not others it will just cause issues with people wondering why they aren't being followed, etc. I think it's just safer to not follow anyone.

And any release for any component is worthy of an "announcement" via the Twitter channel.

I could get on board with that change. I've always hated the plural name.

On that note, I noticed that the Twitter handle is "@AeroGears", with the ending "s".
This may be confusing. "@AeroGearProject" may make more sense? (Twitter allows you to change the handle without consequences).

So Jay just asked me why the @aerogears twitter account havent had a
single update in 73 days - well, that's because I failed miserably about
it :(

How do we want to make use of this channel? I don't think being spammy
is wise, but we need more tweets there for sure :P

Do y'all have suggestions wrt general guidelines on what to post, beyond
the releases we make?

Retweets? E.g. when team member posts "related" bits?

Or, if a component we are using (e.g. jQuery, AFN) has new release
