Bhargav,

This proposal is a good start. What I would like to see though, personally, is some more AeroGear integration. Perhaps the Twitter login (and maybe also the Facebook login) could be added as adapters to AeroGear.Auth[1] in some way.

Also, you should take a look at the AeroGear Kitchensink app[2]. It has not been converted to a Cordova app but that should be easy enough by looking at the version you found. That would get you on your way to AeroGear integration.

One more thing. Please don't feel limited to that description. That was just a suggestion. Please feel free to explore the AeroGear library and find ways that you could take the Kitchensink app (or some other app) and integrate native device features both into the app and preferably into the AeroGear library itself.

Keep it up!
Kris

I agree that the student should come up with most of the plan on how
to develop based on ideas given. But the description here was so vague
that, I can write a proposal to develop a mobile app that integrates
Phone's camera usage and Photo management and then connect to Social
Networks. But, I am very sure that this isn't what Aerogear needs. So,
I have gone through Aerogear's Github repo and found that there is an
existing sample
application(https://github.com/jboss-jdf/jboss-as-quickstart/tree/master/kitchensink-cordova).
I assumed that this was the application referred to in the idea
description and have gone ahead and developed a proposal for the same.

I have uploaded my proposal on Melange and it can be found here
(http://www.google-melange.com/gsoc/proposal/review/google/gsoc2013/bhargavg/9001)
I would be very much obliged if you could provide your feedback on
this proposal, so that I can make my proposal stronger.

I don't think that there is a real "requirements" list. I think (not 100% sure) the ideas should be used to trigger other ideas. When submitting to google you need to have a description of what you want to do. I think we just added some hints/keywords on things that we are interested in. So, if they are appealing, perhaps you have already a vision, what exactly you want to do
