Besides that, I have tested the 1.0.0-release branch w/ the "HelloWorld" example against the UPS.1.0.0.Final (staged) server, on Android (4.4) and iOS (7.x).
Works fine, in both modes, foreground and background 


After merging #49, I am +1 on releasing the branch
