"Create Mobile App" dialog

I always feel like I have to choose one of the framework icons.

When I think about it more, why are these even here? Surely developers could use these or any other frameworks, or no framework, if they want?

I was shoulder surfing Ciaran Byrne while trying to fix an unrelated issue earlier this week, he was also trying to figure out what framework icon he should choose, not realising they're only for decoration.
