h3. Ups testing report for IOS platform.
h4. Cases tested: - Debug provisioning profile - Production provisioning profile - Integration with showcase - Integration with *real application* project on github: https://github.com/wtrocki/let-swift-app
h4. Side effects (possible documentation points) - Creating binding in the wizard is not going to succed - Creating binding before service provisions successfully breaks binding - Changing route in OpenShift do not change configuration. Creating new binding is not going to work after.
h4. Issues: - Changing to use external proxy url do not trigger change on binding and url stays the same. (ping [~maleck13]) - Created variants do not appear to be taken into account when building unbound services graph . Not sure if that is our bug, but it's worth to log that. !Screen Shot 2018-06-11 at 5.25.30 PM.png|thumbnail! - Showcase app do not build for the device unless push enabled team is available in xcode ( already pointed to [~davidmartin])
h4. Hacks in order to run ups with local setup
- In order to test UPS with local setup I needed to change the network interface that mobile-core is exposing. By default mobile core is working on virtual interface that is not available for the network. Any firewall working on device also need to be disabled.
h4. Summary
Overall push server and registration works fine and messages are sent to APNS cloud without any delays and issues. Tested capabilities on IOS 11.4 (latest) and IOS 10 (lowest supported) Binding works flawless after successful provision.
