We have experienced an issue where a device registered some how with two device token IDs.
This can happen when switching from development to production profile - was that the case ?
The APNS Feedback service should have cleaned this up.. but I assume that it somehow didn't recognize the token or we sent a push prior to a clean up event.
Unfortunately not - the feedback service returns only those tokens (from the matching profile (read: dev OR production)) that are invalid, because of user disables push or even removes the app from his device
The server fails. Going into the Admin console and turning off that device makes it work correctly again.
yes, that's a bad work around, we recently updated our upstream APNs java library, which should prevent this nasty failure.
