Camila Macedo The current check only checks the total number of pods in the namespace, so I don't know how it can be used to ensure the operator is running? For example, if there are 2 MDC pods are running, the check will still pass but there isn't an mdc-operator at all?

The fix is to have 2 more specific rules for both the mdc operator and mdc itself. This way the rules can be used to ensure both of them are running. Does it make thing clear?
