Christopher Foley That's a bit of a long story. The initial thought was that people could use different variants in the same application for things like "development" and "production". When we made the whole service catalog binding thing, we only limited it to one because that abstraction was better done at the mobile client level than at the push application level. This abstraction stuck when we transferred from SC to MDC.
