John Frizelle yes we have it documented - see this PR

By following the doc I was not able to get it working only for Xamarin Showcase Android app. It worked for Xamarin Showcase template - iOS, iOS showcase template and Android template. Maybe I was unlucky and messed up the configuration, but when I was testing it, it wasn't working on simulator nor device.
