Description:

Kris and I have been working on improving the performance of the SimplePush server and one "fix" we did as to add separate threads for handling the notifications.
This was before we added support for batch notifications, see AGPUSH-338 for details. This task should determine if this "fix" should be implemented or not by running tests and measuring.
