Wei Li I think that this work flagged that our window.localStorage may not be perfect in the long run.
Maybe we could look into some package that offers better storage drivers for web.
Stephen did investigations here for indexeddb.

As for react native - we have an abstraction of different implementations in the config so adding ReactNative to the game will mean providing another platform in config defaults.
