With iOS7, there are a few cases where (with the plugin) messages are not received.

• when device is on its "lock screen"
• when app is on but in the background

Using the pure native SDK (and the Xcode template for AppDelegate), messages are received (noticeable received).

Looks like there is a difference between the Plugin and the native code
