So this is really bad. It is making the use of Android with SimplePush impossible and in fact, it seems it locks up the whole SimplePush server until the telnet hack is done then things start working again. It may be coincidence but this seems to have started (or at least I first noticed it) after the recent OpenShift maintenance about a week ago.
