• standard prometheus metric client which will expose some standard metrics like CPU, memory etc (the minimum)
• depending on the operator itself, if there are other critical metrics, it should be exposed too.
• UPS operators talks to the UPS server to create/manage push variants, so we probably should have some metrics around the api calls.
