After review we have decided that there would be a lot of work with not a lot of payoff and we will just update the build so the lint error does not fail the build.

BouncyCastle is used by aerogear-android-security via aeroegar-crypto. It includes a namespace that is not available in Android, but those classes are only used in Ldap supporting utilities which the aerogear libraries do not use nor expose. The only workaround is to refactor aerogear-crypto to not use bouncycastle or spongeycastle which will be a lot of work for not a whole lot of gain.
