Gerard Ryan To be honest I can't recall why we limited it to one variant per platform via MDC! It could have been accidental.

I think at this point we keep it simple and address it as a known issue and possibly a minor doc edit, indicating how to handle multiple platform variants. There is going to be discussion around where next for MDC, i.e. should it include the other Mobile Service consoles (e.g. Push Admin Console). This will hopefully happen at the F2F.
