- this works fine
- `pod install` will still try to install dependencies for all configs, if it can not reach local dev dependencies, it will fail
- pre_install is started after the dependencies are downloaded - same problem as with option 2
- “it is intended to be used by the project of a library” - can this option be used in this case?
- don’t know how to use this option
