Then end-goal is for iOS 7 to become the dominant target of our libraries.

For this, the library should be examined and updated:
a) remove any iOS 5/6 hooks/workarounds which won't make sense if the target is now iOS 7
b) updated to use (if missing) new API's introduced with iOS 7
c) dependencies used by the library that target iOS 7 as well can be used (e.g. AFNet)
