Erik Jan de Wit everything works fine w/ iOS6 - did you test w/ iOS7 as well ?
The interesting part - the native (non Cordova) bits worked on my iOS 7 (7.0.4) device (meaning I did see an "alert" whlile watching the lockscreen)
